Xibianmen Tower is located in the southwest corner of the outer city of Beijing. It is one of the seven gates of the outer city of Beijing in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it is one of the simple convenient doors of the outer city of Beijing. It was built in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, and consists of a gatehouse, a watchtower and an urn. Among them, the "Eight-Eye Arrow Pagoda" was added in the early Qing Dynasty.
The turret of the Forbidden City was built at the four corners of the Forbidden City in Beijing on 1420, which belongs to the defense facilities of the palace. The southeast corner building is located inside the intersection of Jianguomen South Street and Chongwenmen East Street in Beijing. Built in 1439, it is the only and largest wall turret in China.
