In the past dynasties, the "two houses" and "two guarantees" were mostly directly controlled by the county government. During the Republic of China, 1940 began "local autonomy", and Xingyi and He Ren, which were directly under the county government, were abolished. 1943, 10000 At the beginning of 2000, Fenggang Town was established, which was directly under the jurisdiction of the county government until 1 160949, after the liberation of Shaxian County. 1949 and 65438+ after February, Sui County was established and evolved into the first district (under Fuxi Township), Chengguan District (renamed), Chengguan Town (directly under the county government), Hongqi People's Commune (under several townships), Chengguan Working Committee (under several communes) and Chengguan People's Commune (1. The urban agricultural population is under the unified management of Chengguan Commune, and five non-agricultural residential streets in the commune are separated to form Chengguan Town. 198 1 In July, the commune was renamed Qiu Jiang People's Commune. Qiu Jiang People's Commune and Chengguan Town were established until July 1984. 1July, 984, the people's commune was abolished in the county and the township (town) organizational system was restored; In the same month, seven administrative villages in the urban area were set aside from Qiu Jiang Township and merged into Chengguan Town, renamed as "neighborhood committees" (changed to "village committees" in June 1995); In August of the same year, Chengguan Town was renamed Fenggang Town. After more than ten years, the scale of Fenggang Town basically maintained the scope of two squares in the past dynasties, and * * * governed seven villages and five hospitals, namely, the mainland, Ximen, Beimen, Dongshan, Shuinan, Miaomen Village Committee and Chengxi, Fuxi, Khan Lee, Zhongshan and Dongmen Neighborhood Committee.

After the mid-1980s, Fubei Neighborhood Committee 1990 was newly established in March due to the development and transformation of the northern part of the county, Lianhua New Village, the western part, the southern part of the county, Ligang Road and Zhongshan Road, as well as the substantial increase of urban population and immigration. 1June, 1999, Lianhua and Shiqiao neighborhood committees were added, Khan Lee neighborhood Committee was abolished, and its Shuibei area was merged into Fuxi neighborhood Committee, and Shuinan area was renamed Chengnan neighborhood Committee. In recent years, due to the rapid development of urban construction, the distribution of streets and population has changed greatly, and the communities are intertwined, and the population of individual communities is too large, which brings inconvenience to management. In mid-August, 2006, the sub-district office comprehensively integrated seven communities according to the relevant work plan of Shaxian Civil Affairs Bureau. Through integration, the Chunhui community was abolished and the "East of the City" community was established. The original Fuxi community was renamed as "Fu Qian" community, and the number of seven communities remained unchanged; Four areas, except Shiqiao community, the other six communities are bounded by roads and streets, and have been comprehensively adjusted.
