On June 1960, Shihong College was renamed Shihong College.

1976 65438+ February College moved to No.93 Tianyaoqiao Road and was renamed Xuhui District Teachers College.

1994, our hospital moved to No.800, Zhongshan South Second Road and merged with the branch.

After the rapid development in the 1980s and 1990s, all the work of the college has been tested by practice, the system has become more and more perfect, and the functional orientation has become more and more clear. The function of multi-functional educational machine in promoting educational reform, improving teachers' level and providing educational services is further reflected.

Entering the new century, the college has ushered in a golden period of development, which is far-reaching and commendable.

In order to welcome the arrival of the new century, implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, and comprehensively promote the education reform, the State Council approved the education revitalization action plan for 2 1 century formulated by the Ministry of Education in June 1999, in which the "cross-century gardener project" was designed in time. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the "cross-century gardener project", the Ministry of Education held the "National Conference on Continuing Education of Primary and Secondary School Teachers and Training of Principals" in Shanghai in June, 1999. After the meeting, the Ministry of Education promulgated the Regulations on Continuing Education for Primary and Secondary School Teachers. The focus of teacher education in our district has shifted from academic education to continuing education. Since 1999, the integration of research and training has taken the lead and formed a new model of teacher education. In March 2000, our college stopped using the name of Xuhui District Education College and resumed using the name of Shanghai Xuhui District Teachers College before its establishment, which made the functional orientation of teacher education more clear. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, our college promoted the school-based teacher training model and opened up channels for teacher education. On June 5438+ 10, 2004, the College established the Teacher Training Department, which was responsible for the organization, planning, implementation, management, guidance, training and service of continuing education for primary and secondary school teachers in the whole region. Through practice and accumulation, the teacher training department has formed characteristic projects and brand activities that lead the growth of school teachers. At this time, Shanghai has started the second round of curriculum reform in basic education, and the primary English subject of 1999 and the primary music subject of 2000 have taken the lead in promoting the curriculum reform in the whole region, becoming the leaders in this field. The teaching and research work in our college adopts the strategy of "focusing on curriculum reform and decisive battle in the classroom" and "focusing on talents and achieving teachers", and has completed the transformation from single teaching and research to research integration, forming a new mechanism of "research integration" combining teaching and research with teaching and training and a new mode of teaching and research work linked up and down by district film schools. In 2005, our region became the first experimental region to comprehensively promote the "second phase curriculum reform". The new curriculum reform has been promoted in an orderly manner with "Interpretation Project", "Hundred Courses Project", "Hundred Questions Project", "Paradigm Project" and "Reflection Project", and the new curriculum has been effectively implemented. According to the concept of quality education and "second-phase curriculum reform", teaching and research staff earnestly study the new curriculum standards and the law of human development, pursue effective teaching, strengthen quality control and improve teaching management, so that the level of curriculum implementation, students' academic performance and teachers' professional level in our district are significantly improved. In April 2008, the Shanghai Education Supervision Office and the Teaching and Research Section of the Education Commission organized 100 leaders and experts to conduct a week-long comprehensive inspection (supervision) in our district, which was highly praised. The Municipal Supervision Office issued a notice to the whole city that Xuhui District has achieved remarkable results in promoting the reform of light duty and high quality classroom teaching, and submitted it to the Ministry of Education.

The wave of educational reform in the new century has promoted the rapid development of educational research. Combining scientific research with educational practice, an empirical research model of education and teaching with the combination of research and training and full participation is established. The operation mechanism of the experimental area of regional education reform, which is led by large-scale projects and jointly promoted by educational administrative leaders, professional researchers and key primary school teachers, has strengthened the guiding and promoting role of regional education research in primary school practice. Our district has successively become the experimental area of UNESCO's "APEID", the national major project of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee "Regional Education Modernization", the five ministries' "Youth Science and Technology Education" and the Ministry of Education "Community Education". In June 2003, the ninth annual meeting of UNESCO APEID was held in Xuhui District. Special research projects such as "science and technology education", "modern basic education system construction", "hundred-question project" and "textbook integration" have been formed in the region and have achieved fruitful results.

Moral education in the new century has been further strengthened. In February 2004, the State Council and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued Several Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving the Ideological and Moral Construction of Minors. The moral education room of our college has comprehensively carried out the practical research of "subjective moral education", established the moral education principle of "students' participation process, students' acceptance form and students' recognition effect", and formed the subjectivity with Xuhui characteristics of "students as the main body, teachers as the guidance, schools as the foundation and regions as the promotion".

In September 2002, the former Education Party School merged with the Training Department of Teachers' College, and implemented a set of personnel and two brands, which made the training of cadres more perfect and formed three brand courses of "political theory literacy, education and teaching management ability, comprehensive quality of science, technology and humanities".

In the late 1990s, with the rise of computer-aided teaching, audio-visual education stations began to study, and in the follow-up training of all the staff in the Ninth Five-Year Plan, they took the lead in setting up relevant training courses to help schools start with multimedia-assisted teaching. In September, 2000, in order to better popularize and popularize modern educational technology in the whole region and realize resource sharing in an all-round way, the audio-visual education station was reorganized into a modern educational technology resource center, which became the research, training, service, resources and technical support center of modern educational technology in the education system of our region. 2 1 century, Xuhui district government put forward the goal of promoting the leap-forward development of education by informationization and finally realizing the modernization of education. Soon, through scientific planning, our district built the only education metropolitan area network with independent property rights in Shanghai, and connected all local organs and primary and middle school children with gigabit or 100 megabits by using optical cables, which laid a solid and efficient network foundation for the education informatization project. At the beginning of 2004, the college merged the library center, computer education center and modern educational technology resource center to form an educational information center, providing a networked, digital, borderless, virtualized and leisure educational information environment in an all-round way. In recent years, the Education Information Center has established a resource integration support system, improved the "resource pool", added an "information window" and built a "resource-information chain" to realize the integration of the three networks. Functional modules such as education management, video-on-demand, video conference and subject resource application have been opened, and websites such as Xuhui Education Network, Xuhui Teachers Network and Xuhui Preschool Education Network have been opened. A number of websites with discipline characteristics and an information experimental school have been built. Activities such as online training, online training management, online teaching and research, and online education and teaching forums have been carried out.

In April, 2004, the College set up the Office of Education International Exchange Center, established and improved the long-term mechanism of international exchange, and carried out educational exchanges and cooperation on a regular basis.
