Why did Sima Qian forge and tamper with history in Historical Records?
We know that Sima Qian wrote Historical Records, and there are two kinds of comments on Historical Records. One is Wang Chongpai, a famous writer in the Eastern Han Dynasty. He thinks that Historical Records is a slanderer with less than 20% credibility in promoting myths and superstitions. Lu Xun, a school of scholars, thinks that historians never sing, leaving no rhyme and coquettish. From two completely different comments, we can see that Sima Qian's Records of the Historian has many real places, but at the same time Sima Qian also forged and tampered with history in a large number of Records of the Historian. Let's analyze a large number of forgeries and tampering with history in Sima Qian's Historical Records:

First: For example, during the period of the Yellow Emperor-BC 1046, it was at least 900 years since Sima Qian was born (BC 145). It is estimated that Sima Qian's ancestors were eighteen generations, but his grandfather was not born to the thirtieth power. How did you know that a long time ago?

Excuse me, Mr. Sima Qian, what is your evidence and credentials? Is it out of nothing, or is it based on evidence? Mr Sima Qian, which book did you read and know about this period, or who told you that the Yellow Emperor came to Zhou Wuwang? You don't have any evidence to know that much from what happened 900 years ago? Throughout the historical events from Huangdi to Zhou Wuwang recorded in Sima Qian's Historical Records, most characters are forged.

No one in China ever dared to write about 900 years ago without any evidence, and Sima Qian was the first. Sima Qian thinks so. No one knows what happened 900 years ago anyway. It can be seen that Sima Qian's biographies of the Five Emperors, Xia Biography and Yin Biography are mostly false, that is, fictional events and characters account for more than 50%. I haven't known it for 40 years. There is no evidence that you will know anything before Sima Qian was born 1400 years ago. Don't tell me there is a history book, just written by people during the Warring States period. Sima Qian forged many historical events and figures on the basis of Shangshu. No wonder Wang Chong criticized Sima Qian's Historical Records for tampering with history.

2. Let's look at Sima Qian's historical records when he wrote Spring and Autumn Annals, especially the story of incest and adultery.

I have read the Biography of the Spring and Autumn Ram by Shou/Hu Wusheng and the Biography of the Spring and Autumn Valley Liang by Lu. There are very few incest and adultery in it, except with Qi Wenjiang. Sima Qian's Historical Records is full of incest and adultery. Sima Qian forged incest and adultery and thought others didn't know. Others are Hu Wusheng, Shou, Xian Jianggong, Cai, Lu, etc. They are all famous historians of the Spring and Autumn Period, and they are ten times better at studying the history of the Spring and Autumn Period than Sima Qian. I haven't read any history books of the Spring and Autumn Period. Most of the incest and adultery recorded in history books are false. From Sima Qian's forgery of Wei's son and a large number of other historical incidents of incest and adultery in Historical Records, we can see that Sima Qian's character is like an animal, even worse than an animal, and he is not alone at all, and thieves and prostitutes are everywhere.

Some people say that perhaps Sima Qian's Historical Records refers to Zuo Qiuming's Zuo Zhuan. If Zuo Qiuming's Zuo Zhuan really existed before Shou, Hu Wusheng, Lu, Lu and Cai, wouldn't these famous historians write the contents of Zuo Zhuan into the Spring and Autumn Biography of the Ram and the Spring and Autumn Biography, or read Zuo Zhuan? So at first glance, Zuo Zhuan is a fake book.

Sima Qian's forgery of Shun: Sima Qian's description of the so-called ancient emperor Shun and the names given to him by Shun or his descendants, not to mention the existence of Shun. According to Sima Qian's description, Shun was born about 2000 years ago. Sima Qian wrote the details of Shun's father and brother's murder. This makes people suspect that you Sima Qian knew so much about things that were so far away 2000 years ago, and you Sima Qian knew all the details about killing Shun's father and brother? A discerning person will know at a glance that this is just a false story made up by Sima Qian or hearsay.

At that time, Shun didn't even have a unified text. It is hard to imagine that Sima Qian would know the details of Shun's father and brother's murder in that era of backward traffic, blocked information transmission and no written language. So anyone with a discerning eye can see that this is just a story made up by Sima Qian, or a false story heard from hearsay.

Through Sima Qian's description of the so-called ancient emperor Shun, we can see that Sima Qian cheated in Historical Records. Wang Chong, a writer in the Eastern Han Dynasty, is completely justified in questioning the authenticity of Sima Qian's Historical Records.
