Brief introduction of Shi Liping folk songs
Bazhong City has a population of 6.5438+0.2 million square kilometers and a total population of 3.65 million. There are few indigenous people here, all of whom are descendants of Ba people. Nowadays, the ethnic groups are mainly Han, and there are also a few Hui, Tibetan and Tujia, among which Tujia immigrated in the early Qing Dynasty. Shi Liping is mainly distributed in Tongjiang County. According to historical records, during the Qin and Han dynasties, there was an atmosphere of "singing opera across the mountain" in the local countryside, and in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the singing opera style flourished. At the foot of the mountain, there are songs everywhere, singing one song after another, which is very sonorous. Later, it developed into singing to communicate feelings and express love and acacia between men and women, and then evolved into a bizarre and tortuous story. Tongjiang County has a long history of folk songs and narrative poems, such as Shi Liping, Liang Zhu and Shang Cha Shan. The natural scenery in this area is very beautiful. Guangwu Mountain and Nuoshui River, national scenic spots, are located at the source of Bahe River and Tongjiang River respectively.
