At the beginning of the establishment of Zhongguang Middle School, the conditions were very poor. The classroom is two bungalows in Loutang Central Primary School, with self-made stools, desks and blackboards borrowed from Loutang Primary School. Because Loutang belongs to the Japanese occupation area, children must learn Japanese. However, in order to prevent students from being enslaved, Zhongguang Middle School insists on not offering Japanese classes in terms of curriculum and textbook selection. On the contrary, it has compiled a citizen textbook for teaching English and formulated a patriotic convention. The simple and wise Zhongguang people practiced their patriotic enthusiasm with their own practical actions.
The early teachers were all intellectuals in Loutang area. Ge Shixiong teaches Chinese and citizenship, President Chen teaches English, Zhou Chengquan teaches mathematics and physics, and Mei Xiu teaches geography. At this time, the number of students is very small, and there are only twenty students at the beginning of school. Nevertheless, the establishment of private Zhongguang Middle School has become a monument in the history of Loutang education, which has opened the history of Loutang Middle School education.

Qin Hao and many other underground members of the Communist Party of China went to Zhongguang Middle School as teachers to carry out underground work, making Zhongguang an underground contact point and a cradle for young students to pursue progress and revolution. Before and after liberation, the first batch of students from China Broadcasting Corporation moved to underground party member, and a large number of students joined the army and embarked on the revolutionary road.
1956 Zhongguang Middle School was changed from a private school to a public school and renamed Loutang Middle School. 1958, the school added a high school, expanded enrollment, and a large number of college graduates, enriched the teaching staff, strengthened the teaching strength, and ushered in the peak of enrollment in a leap-forward era. From 1958 to 1966, the school flourished, with more than 30 classes, 1500 students and 100 staff.

For the next generation, they are full of courage to forge ahead. An old school song "Zhongguang, you are down to earth!" For the sake of the new generation, don't forget the hardships we had at the beginning. May we be simple and diligent! Full of courage, for the benefit of the crowd, everyone made steady progress, "singing the deepest friendship between the old and the wide." Entering the new century, Zhongguang Middle School has followed the pace of urbanization and embarked on a new journey on the basis of inheriting the cultural heritage of the old school.
