The film begins with a photo of the old town of Nanjing. In the roar of gunfire, the city wall collapsed in the dust and the picture was transferred to the city gate. Soldiers of the 36th Division of the Kuomintang guarding the city organized Kuomintang officers and men who were preparing to leave the city with their flesh and blood, and launched hand-to-hand combat. The tragic scene shook my heart.
The army was defeated and the massacre began. There are bodies everywhere, and this film does not vividly show the strange killing methods of the Japanese army. It makes this disaster come to everyone who is alive. Mr. Tang, Rabe's secretary, shared the responsibility of the refugee camp with Rabe. When Rabe had to leave, he entrusted himself to the Japanese to protect the safety of his family. When he finally became "formal" friends with the Japanese, his sister was dragged into the comfort station by the Japanese, his daughter was killed by the Japanese, and his wife survived because she was knocked unconscious. He, want to cry, want to cry! Later, with Rabe's efforts, the Japanese promised to let Rabe take two people. When they were about to enter the door of birth, Mr. Tang, a typical China man, gave up his right to exist and gave it to another person who longed for survival. . . . . . Later, Mr. Tang was about to be taken to the execution ground. He saw blindfolded China tied to a post like a chicken and shot one by one. It's his turn. He refused to be blindfolded. He smiled and said to the Japanese officer, "You know, my wife is pregnant again, and my wife is pregnant again." This is a declaration of his dying victory, and his composure makes Japanese officers dare not look straight!
The whole movie is filled with a kind of cruel depression and despair, and only at the end does it ignite a little warm hope. The small beans released by Kakukawa are running and laughing at the Yuan Ye, which represents China's hope. Although tomorrow is still cruel, hope has passed. Although Nanjing was dead by then, the unity and resistance of the people of China have been aroused. Since surrender is impossible, we must work hard to win the war.
This history has become a thing of the past, but so hard to forget, a man with conscience in China? Although the Japanese revised textbooks, tampered with history and blinded the facts in order to cover up their crimes. However, the recent fishing incident once alerted us. Now the whole Chinese nation has awakened and is no longer a lamb to be slaughtered. We will make unremitting efforts and struggle for our sovereignty. History can never be forgotten. We should turn this humiliating history into unyielding will, push ourselves forward, change the humble situation of backwardness and beatings, turn pain into strength, turn weakness into strength, abandon decay and create magic. Only through the joint efforts of our Chinese sons and daughters can the motherland be truly powerful.
In my mind, it seems that the little bean is running in the field again. He is running, and he is smiling.
