Who is the most shameless emperor in history?
Shijingtang

That is, the founding emperor of the post-Jin Dynasty in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period-the post-Jin Gaozu is the (late) Jin Gaozu. This man is the most shameless emperor in the history of China.

In the third year of Qing Dynasty (AD 936), Shi Jingtang rose up and rebelled. After Tang Jun surrounded Taiyuan, Shi Jingtang turned to Qidan for help, ceded sixteen states of Youyun, and was willing to be the "son emperor". Subsequently, with the help of the Khitan, Shi Jingtang proclaimed himself emperor, destroyed the later Tang Dynasty, made its capital in the capital city of Bianliang, and changed its name to "Jin", which was called the later Jin in history.

Shi Jingtang's impudence is reflected in Shi Jingtang's calling Ye Ludeguang, who is ten years younger than him, as his father, and then offering 300,000 silks every year. Shi Jingtang was very cautious about the submission of the Khitan. Every letter used tables to express the difference between the monarch and the minister, calling Taizong the "father emperor" and calling himself "minister" and "son emperor". Whenever the Khitan envoys arrived, they were worshipped by the imperial edict.

His shameless behavior not only made the Central Plains lose a large territory, but also made the Qidan easily occupy the prominent areas around the Great Wall. From then on, the Khitan can go straight into the Yellow River basin, without the natural barrier of resistance, which has brought endless disasters to the people of the Central Plains. This made sixteen states fall for more than 400 years, and it was not until Zhu Yuanzhang's Northern Expedition in Mengyuan that they were recovered.

Shi Jingtang's shameful act of recognizing the thief as his father and betraying his country made even his cronies feel contempt for Liu Zhiyuan and expressed their opposition. He said: It is ok to be a vassal, but you should be too generous with your father's work and be self-sufficient before you can send troops, so you don't have to allow training. You are afraid that China will suffer big losses in the future and regret it. Shi Jingtang refused and still went his own way.

Looking at Shi Jingtang's life, it's really shameful. The shameful title of "Two Emperors" in the history of China came from him. His practice of ceding sixteen states to Qidan directly led to the fact that the northern land north and east of the Yellow River was almost undefended and exposed under the threat of foreign nationalities, which created extremely favorable conditions for Qidan, Jurchen and Mongolia to invade the Central Plains in the next 400 years.
