Cooking is so popular in China, but it is rare abroad. For example, Japanese food is either raw or fried, while western food is often fried and there is no need to fry at all. Then the question is, why don't foreigners cook?

First, there is no wok abroad. Cooking needs wok. People in China have used iron pots for thousands of years. The wok is deep and the diameter is relatively large, so the ingredients are not easy to fall out when stir-frying in the wok, and can be mixed evenly, which is conducive to the fusion of flavors.

But look at foreign countries, especially Europe and America, there are no woks, only pans. The pot is shallow and not suitable for cooking at all. It will fall out with a little effort. Foreigners can fry an onion in a pan. Just pull it a few times. Generally, food is fried in a pot.

Second, foreigners are not good at learning and cooking. China's food culture is as long as China's, with a history of at least 5,000 years. In the long history, China people have made profound research on diet. Different ingredients have different practices, and the same ingredients also have different practices.

And these practices can be done with a wok. But foreigners don't have much research on eating, so they only fry, fry and cook. In the language of foreigners, there is no such word as "speculation". How can there be speculation?

3. The cooking in foreign Chinese restaurants is not good. All the people who go to eat are foreigners, and there are very few people in China. There is a simple reason. Foreigners can't fry, they can only buy and eat. Foreigners who have eaten cooking say it is delicious, but it is difficult to learn cooking.

The ingredients for foreigners to cook are very simple. For example, when frying, almost all the ingredients are put directly into the pot without any treatment. However, in China, there are different ways to treat cooking ingredients. For example, meat needs curing and vegetables need blanching. There are many exquisite things that can make cooking more delicious. Foreigners don't understand this and can't cook well.

Fourth, cooking without fire. Cooking in China uses firewood, fire, natural gas and liquefied gas, and the firepower is very fierce, especially the firewood stoves in rural areas. Fried food is a kind of fragrance. Now the fierce fire stove in the hotel is just like the firewood stove.

However, in foreign families, induction cookers are basically used. You might say that the induction cooker has a lot of firepower and can cook food. But the induction cooker is a dark fire, and the most suitable cooking is an open fire, which can make the whole pot heat up. It's strange that the induction cooker only heats the bottom of the pot, but it doesn't paste.

5. Foreign oil is not suitable for cooking. We in China use too much oil, such as soybean oil, corn oil, peanut oil, sesame oil, lard, edible oil, frying oil and cold oil, which are clearly distinguished.

The oil used by westerners is basically olive oil, which has a low smoke point and is only suitable for low-temperature frying. If it is used for cooking, there will be a lot of oil smoke, the smoke alarm in the room will drip, and the neighbors will think that there is a fire. Therefore, foreigners dare not cook.
