Where did China people love to eat bird's nest?
China people's love for bird's nest originated from Zheng He's voyage to the West in the Ming Dynasty, when Zheng He and Malacca Strait were suddenly caught in a storm and fled to a desert island. Food is scarce on the island, and occasionally I see bird's nest on the cliff and cook to satisfy my hunger. When the crew escaped from danger, their faces were radiant and their voices were sonorous. Shipped back to the Central Plains and dedicated to Ming Chengzu as a treasure.

Later, the import of bird's nest was recorded as "official swallow", which began in the 17th year of Wanli in Ming Shenzong. Today, bird's nest has been regarded as a good food supplement by Chinese all over the world.

So some people in China eat bird's nest and Zheng He goes to the West. And the story that China people love to drink bird's nest begins.
