China people's love for bird's nest originated from Zheng He's voyage to the West in the Ming Dynasty, when Zheng He and Malacca Strait were suddenly caught in a storm and fled to a desert island. Food is scarce on the island, and occasionally I see bird's nest on the cliff and cook to satisfy my hunger.
