The National Speed Skating Hall presents a unique look, praising the elegance, accuracy, speed and dynamics of speed skating. The design creates a strong arena atmosphere, and everyone in the oval stadium can see and hear every movement and sound of the skates. The architecture and site construction of the stadium complement the architectural image of the Olympic Park, the majestic steel structure of the Bird's Nest and the dynamic membrane structure of the Water Cube.

Twenty-two independent rays (or ribbons) flow upward around the ellipse and wrap it, reaching a height of about 33.8 meters. This "shell" ensures a high level of tourist comfort and comfort, which is consistent with its position as a competitor and audience of the world's leading speed skating venues.

At night, the facade creates an exciting spectacle, and each line becomes a dynamic light belt, which can be changed into endless lighting schemes.
