A brief introduction to Wutai Mountain history
1, Wutai Mountain was originally the place where the immortal alchemist lived, so it was named Zifu. It is called Zifu Mountain, also known as Wufeng Mountain Dojo. There used to be a Zifu Temple, where Taoist priests practiced. According to the records in Liangshan, Liang Qing, when Manjusri Bodhisattva of Buddhism first came to China, she lived in a cave with a stone basin in the metaphysical view of Taoism, indicating that Wutai Mountain was occupied by Taoism at that time.

2. Xiang Hui, a monk in the Tang Dynasty, quoted the cloud "Fairy Classics" in "The Story of the Ancient Cool": Wutai Mountain, named Zifu, is often purple and inhabited by immortals. His biography also said: In the three years of Yongjia in the Jin Dynasty, there were more than 100 descendant counties in Yanmen County, avoiding chaos and entering this mountain. Seeing that all the villagers were driven away by it, Suining lived in Yanye. People who go back will live there. Looking around, I don't know where I am, so my old friend regards the mountain as the capital of immortals.

3. Buddhism was introduced into Wutai Mountain, which generally began in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the 11th year of Yongping (68), Kaye Morten and Zhu Falan came to Wutai Mountain (then called Liang Qing). They built a temple here because there was a pagoda of King Ashoka on the mountain for a long time and Wutai Mountain was where Manjusri Bodhisattva gave lectures and lived.

4. Wutai Mountain, located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, has a planned scenic area of 607 square kilometers and an administrative jurisdiction area of 436 square kilometers.
