Upor 1 Mali. Upor, Mali, located in the southeast of Ukraine, near the Sea of Azov, with a total population of about 460,000, is the second largest city in Donetsk. Donetsk is a traditional center of heavy industry and the main producing area of Donbass coalfield. During the Soviet period, many steel mills and machinery factories were built in Donetsk. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Donbass' industrial products and resources mainly went to sea through upor in Mali. Therefore, upor in Mali has become one of the major commercial ports in southeastern Ukraine.
2. Belyansk. Berdyansk is located in the southeast of Ukraine, on the north bank of Azov Sea, in the west of upor, Mali, and belongs to Zaporoge State, with a total population of about 1.5 million. The port of Berdyansk was built in the19th century and was once controlled by the Crimean Khanate. After Russia destroyed the Crimean khanate, it built a port in Berdyansk. During the Soviet period, the port scale developed rapidly. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Berdyansk became one of the major commercial ports in Ukraine, and railways and highways were connected with Donbass.
