Luoyang Refractory Research Institute, the predecessor of Sinosteel Luoyang Refractory Research Institute Co., Ltd., was established with the approval of the State Science and Technology Commission and the State Planning Commission, with Zhong as the first president and Zhao Lida as the party secretary.

1979

China Metal Society and China Silicate Society decided to set up a "Refractory Academic Committee", which is affiliated to Luoyang Refractory Research Institute.

1984

Xing Shouwei is the director and Li Shaoqi is the party secretary.

1985

The Ministry of Metallurgy approved Luoyang Refractory Research Institute as a pilot unit for reform and implemented the director responsibility system.

1988

Luoyang Refractory Research Institute of Ministry of Metallurgy was renamed Luoyang Refractory Research Institute of Ministry of Metallurgy, and the Henan provincial government awarded our institute the title of "Civilized Unit of Henan Province".

1989

The State Bureau of Technical Supervision approved the establishment of "National Refractory Quality Supervision and Inspection Center" in Luonai Institute.

1993

The Science and Technology Commission of Henan Province recognized Luonai Institute as a "high-tech enterprise" and an "excellent high-tech enterprise in Henan Province". The State Administration for Import and Export Commodity Inspection decided that the refractories accreditation laboratory of the State Administration for Import and Export Commodity Inspection should be located in the National Refractory Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.

1994

Wang Jinxiang is president, and Li Shaoqi is the Party Secretary.

1995

The State Planning Commission approved the establishment of "National Refractory Engineering Research Center" in Luonai Institute.

1999

Luo Nai Research Institute entered sinosteel, China, and was transformed from the original applied research institution into a high-tech enterprise, renamed as "Sinosteel Luo Yang Refractory Research Institute".

In 2000,

Passed the ISO900 1 quality system certification organized by China Metallurgical Industry Quality System Certification Center.

Li is the principal and secretary of the Party Committee.

In 2002

Henan Credit Rating Company identified Sinosteel Luo Naiyuan as an AAA credit rating enterprise; Luoyang Administration for Industry and Commerce recognized Sinosteel Luonaiyuan as an inspection-free enterprise for industrial and commercial administration.

In 2003

The National Development and Reform Commission approved the construction of "Industrial Demonstration Project of Refractory with Special Functions" by Sinosteel Luonai Institute.

In 2004

The Ministry of Science and Technology approved that the productivity promotion center of refractory industry should be located in Sinosteel Luonai Institute. The Ministry of Science and Technology identified Sinosteel Luonaiyuan as the key high-tech enterprise of the National Torch Program.

The internal operation of Sinosteel Luonaiyuan Research-resistant Technology Co., Ltd. started.

In 2005

Sinosteel Luonai Institute has passed the certification of ISO 1400 1 environmental management system and GB/T2800 1 occupational health and safety management system.

The State Sports General Administration awarded Sinosteel Luonai Institute the title of "National Advanced Unit of Mass Sports", and Henan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions awarded the "May 1 Labor Award".

In 2006

The third phase expansion of silicon carbide, unshaped refractories, mullite-cordierite kiln furniture and refractory ceramic fibers were put into production.

The Ministry of Personnel approved the establishment of a postdoctoral research center by Sinosteel Luonai Institute.

National Development and Reform Commission awarded Sinosteel Luonaiyuan National Enterprise Technology Center.

In 2007

The State Administration for Industry and Commerce awarded Sinosteel Luo Naiyuan the title of "National Contract-abiding and Credit-abiding Unit", the National Development and Reform Commission awarded the high-tech industrialization demonstration project of special function refractories as "National Excellent High-tech Industrialization Demonstration Project", and the Science and Technology Department of Henan Province recognized it as an innovative pilot enterprise in Henan Province.

Sinosteel Luonai Institute was renamed as "Sinosteel Luoyang Refractory Research Institute Co., Ltd.".

The Ministry of Science and Technology identified Sinosteel Luonai Institute as a national innovative pilot enterprise, Henan Science and Technology Department as an innovative enterprise in Henan Province, and Henan Province as a demonstration unit for credit construction in Henan Province.

In 2009

Henan Science and Technology Department approved Sinosteel Luonai Institute as the supporting unit of "Henan Special Refractory Key Laboratory".

Henan provincial government awarded the title of "provincial advanced health unit".
