Historical Evolution of Hepingli No.1 Primary School in Dongcheng District, Beijing
Hepingli No.1 Primary School has gone through the following three stages since it was founded in 1955.

At the beginning of the first stage (1955- 1957):

Hepingli No.1 Primary School was founded in 1955, and its name is Hepingli Primary School in Dongsi District, Beijing. Address: No.5, Zone 1, Hepingli. The school has a teaching building with an area of 2,048 square meters, classrooms 12 and a large playground, covering an area of about 5,000 square meters. 1958 changed its name to Hepingli No.1 Primary School in Dongcheng District, Beijing.

The second stage of the Cultural Revolution (1958- 1975):

1958, the school was renamed hepingli No.1 primary school. 1960 a joint party branch was established in hepingli area, which was located in hepingli No.1 primary school and was designated as a visiting unit by the Education Bureau. 1969, the school established a party branch.

The third stage after the Cultural Revolution (1976 to present):

In July, 1996, Dongcheng District Education Committee made layout adjustment, and some teachers and classes from Hepingli No.6 Primary School went to Hepingli No.1 Primary School. The address name 1987 was changed to No.21Hepingli Middle Street.
