What are the historical allusions of Beijing's "Snow Clearing in the Western Hills"?
When Emperor Qianlong was in power, he often liked to travel in private. Many places of interest have left his imperial inscription. There is a saying among the people: "A penny (a copper coin) is not worth anything if you are an adult." This shows that his inscriptions are numerous and indiscriminate.

The Fragrant Hills Jingyi Garden in the western suburbs of Beijing is a scenic spot for enjoying snow in winter and flowers in spring, and it is also one of the eight famous scenic spots in Yanjing. Emperor Qianlong used to come here for sightseeing, and changed "Xishan Snow" to "Xishan Clear Snow". Emperor Qianlong really has something to say.

On the morning of the eighth day of February one year, Emperor Qianlong went to the early dynasty. Just after he left the temple gate, he saw snowflakes flying all over the sky in the courtyard. He was so happy that he couldn't help thinking of the famous Snow in the Western Hills, so he asked people to change clothes and prepare the coffin, and accompanied by ministers, he went straight to Xiangshan.

After the snow, the Xiangshan Mountain is wrapped in silver, and the scenery is particularly charming. Qianlong climbed a big stone halfway up the mountain and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Qing Dynasty, making him feel more comfortable. At this time, Minister Liu Yong said that the scenery here is beautiful, but the name is a bit vulgar, because the snow is all accumulated together.

Gan Long nodded and asked him to give a new name. The clever "Liu" didn't dare to say much in front of the emperor, just asking the emperor to give him a name. Qianlong thought for a long time and said it was called "Xiangshan Chun Xue", but he felt bad and couldn't think of anything else, so he had to go back to the palace.

After returning to the palace, Qianlong felt very uncomfortable. It's a pity, he thought, that he can't even claim to be the king of a country. The next day, he accompanied Liu Yong to Xiangshan.

When they arrived at Xiangshan, they came to a rock in the north of Banshan Pavilion. Looking at Wan Li, there is no cloud in Wan Li. Looking around, the mountains and plains are covered with snow. He couldn't help but blurt it out. It might as well be called "Xishan Snow"!

Hearing this, Liu Yong thought, it is better to call "Snow in the Western Hills". But the emperor's face is not good to refute, just nodded his head.

Repeated chatter seems inappropriate, but I can't think of a good word at the moment, so I have to call it "Xishan Xue Rui" first.

March in the spring is a good time to enjoy flowers. Emperor Qianlong, who always likes to travel, came to Xiangshan together with his ministers Ji Xiaolan and Liu Yong. When they passed Wanshou Mountain, they saw a piece of white around Xiangshan in the distance, much like the coverage of Chun Xue, and their fun immediately increased. In a short time, they boarded the Mid-Levels Pavilion. Looking around, I saw flowers blooming all over the mountain, with pleasant fragrance and petals fluttering like snow.

Ji Xiaolan said that most of the flowers on this mountain are apricot flowers. The name of Xiangshan comes from the fragrance of apricot flowers. In the Ming Dynasty, some people used "Snow in the Western Hills" to praise the pleasant sight of apricot flowers flying.

After hearing what Ji Xiaolan said, Gan Long suddenly remembered that when he came to Xiangshan to enjoy the snow at the beginning of the year, he changed "Xishan Snow" to "Xishan Xue Rui". Ganlong consulted Ji Xiaolan and thought it was immoral. After careful consideration, Qianlong finally decided to use the word "Xishan Clear Snow".

He said: "Winter is the best place for Chu Qing to see the scenery; In spring, flowers are as fresh as snow. " Liu Yong repeatedly called it good after listening to it, thinking it was wonderful. Ganlong was even happier when he heard the praise.

Liu Yong said, "Your majesty, your name is really good. Why not write it yourself? "

"Yes!" Get Four Treasures of the Study ready and let Viva ask questions at will. "This is a specialty of Qianlong. Walking with him, Four Treasures of the Study is on call.

As a result, the four characters of "Xishan Clear Snow" were written in one go. Later, at Liu Yong's suggestion, in order to make it "immortal", he wrote these four characters on the rock. Gan Long took advantage of the excitement and wrote a poem: "The silver screens overlap, and the Langlang peaks face the Imperial Capital." Xiao Yue is greeted by the crystal light of thousands of valleys, and the jade chips of thousands of forests are reflected in the sun.

After Qianlong came to Xiangshan again, he always felt that the inscribed rocks were not pleasing to the eye. So he sent a big stone tablet, re-engraved the four characters of "Clear Snow in Xishan" and stood halfway up the mountain.
