The history of north university of china
North university of china is a multi-disciplinary teaching and research university jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shanxi Provincial People's Government, and mainly managed by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government. The school is located in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province, with the majestic Erlong Mountain in the west, the clear Fenhe River in the south and the famous scenic spot Dou Dafu Temple in Taiyuan, with beautiful scenery.

This school has a glorious revolutionary history. Its predecessor was Taihang Industrial School, which was the first ordnance school established by the Eighth Route Army General Command in Taihang Anti-Japanese Base Area in 194 1. After the baptism of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, I have experienced many vicissitudes. 1949, the school moved to its present site, 1958, it was upgraded to Taiyuan Institute of Mechanical Engineering. With the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, four majors of conventional weapons in Beijing Institute of Technology (now Beijing Institute of Technology) and two majors of conventional weapons in shenyang ligong university (now Shenyang Gong Li University) moved in one after another, and the school became the most complete institution of higher learning in China at that time, and its scale and overall school-running strength were also enriched and improved. 65438-0963, the school was placed under the direct leadership of the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, and it was one of the eight undergraduate colleges in the national defense industry at that time. 197 1 belongs to the Fifth Ministry of Machinery Industry, and 1993 was renamed North China Institute of Technology. 1999 became an institution of higher learning jointly established by the commission of science, technology and industry for national defense and the people's government of Shanxi Province. In June 2004, it was renamed north university of china with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
