Introduction to History is basically an introduction to history. This paper introduces the basic concepts and categories of this subject, and combined with a large number of works by ordinary historians, introduces the methods of finding information, the operation of selecting topics, and the reading and understanding of historical materials. Methods of telling historical facts, analyzing historical phenomena and writing qualified works. On this basis, this paper introduces historical tradition, historiography theory and historiography theory, trying to connect China with the West and build a common platform for dialogue between Chinese and Western historians. Introduction to History is a basic course textbook for undergraduates majoring in history.
