Temple is one of the habitats of monkeys in Emei, where tourists feed the monkeys, making the tour more interesting. Davidia involucrata, a rare plant in the world, has dense forests and flowers that spread their wings like pigeons.

Originally a Taoist resort, it became a Buddhist temple because of the prosperity of Buddhism, but the names of many scenic spots nearby still retain Taoist names.

This area is the "Nine Old Fairy Mansions", one of the "Ten Scenes of Emei"-"The temple name is Fairy Mansion, and the cave is near Nine Old; The mountain meets the top of the Buddha and the platform meets Huang San. " This pair of couplets on the stone pillars in front of the first hall of Xianfeng Temple summarizes the main features of "Nine Old Fairy Mansions". In addition, you can also enjoy the growth of many Davidia involucrata trees. The flowers are white, like pigeon wings, and the breeze blows and dances. It is a rare plant in the world. Westerners call them "China pigeon trees".
