Historical allusions of Xianfeng Temple
Xianfeng Temple is located between Hongchunping and Yuxian Temple, facing Huayanding and facing the precipice. It is about fifteen miles from Hongchunping. Founded in the Yuan Dynasty, most of the existing temples were repaired and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty.

On the way from Hongchunping to Jiulao Cavern, you have to pass the longest, steepest, steepest and biggest turn on the hillside, which is called "99-way bend". Zhao Xi, a litterateur in Qing Dynasty, wrote in Emei Poems: "The risk is vaguely 100%, and the people above are half empty. People transfer books, and spring insects and autumn mosquitoes draw clouds "; Tourists often stop here.

Xianfeng Temple is lush and quiet. There are four main halls in the temple, covered with tin plates and iron tiles, and the back hall is the relic copper tower. Not far from the temple, there is a huge stone "Sanfeng Stone" engraved with the words "South Ami Bodhisattva" and "Xian Gui", hence the name of the temple.

Temple is one of the habitats of monkeys in Emei, where tourists feed the monkeys, making the tour more interesting. Davidia involucrata, a rare plant in the world, has dense forests and flowers that spread their wings like pigeons.

Originally a Taoist resort, it became a Buddhist temple because of the prosperity of Buddhism, but the names of many scenic spots nearby still retain Taoist names.

On the right side of the temple is the Emperor Terrace, which is said to be the place where Xuanyuan asked for the truth. About a mile down from the Emperor Terrace, there is a deep and mysterious limestone cave "Jiulao Cavern". It is said that nine old people invited by the ancient Yellow Emperor, namely Tianying, Rentian, Tianzhu, Tianxin, Qin Tian, Tianfu, Tian Chong, Tian Rui and Tianlian, all lived in caves. The hole is about four meters, and the overlap of the inner holes is unfathomable; There is a god of wealth temple in the cave. According to legend, Zhao Gongming, the God of Wealth, practiced here.

This area is the "Nine Old Fairy Mansions", one of the "Ten Scenes of Emei"-"The temple name is Fairy Mansion, and the cave is near Nine Old; The mountain meets the top of the Buddha and the platform meets Huang San. " This pair of couplets on the stone pillars in front of the first hall of Xianfeng Temple summarizes the main features of "Nine Old Fairy Mansions". In addition, you can also enjoy the growth of many Davidia involucrata trees. The flowers are white, like pigeon wings, and the breeze blows and dances. It is a rare plant in the world. Westerners call them "China pigeon trees".
