Located in the eastern part of Junggar Basin, the marginal plain of fukang city, Xinjiang, was built in 1988, with an area of 10 km2. It is a new oil base under the jurisdiction of Karamay Xinjiang Petroleum Administration Bureau and Xinjiang Oilfield Company. To the south is Tianshan Mountain, which stretches for thousands of miles and is covered with snow. The snow on Bogda Peak, the highest peak in Tianshan Mountain, is magnificent against the summer sunshine. It is only about 50 kilometers southwest of Urumqi and 70 kilometers southeast of Tianchi, a famous tourist attraction in China. Two main roads, such as Tuwu Expressway, pass through the base, and the east-west traffic is very convenient. After nearly 20 years of construction and improvement, the oil base has formed a unique living and production community, with superior material conditions and natural geographical location, which makes the community look initially modernized. The residents here have strong consumption power, many enterprises and merchants, and the market is prosperous, forming their own unique industrial and commercial zone.
