In the second year of Guangxu (1876), on the ninth day of May, the entire Songhu Railway, built by British businessman Yihe Foreign Firm, was opened, with a total length of five miles. The opening ceremony was held on the tenth day. It opens on the twelfth. On June 14, a pedestrian was killed by a train. On the eighth day of September, Shen Baozhen, governor of Liangjiang River, sent Taoist priest Sheng Xuanhuai and others to negotiate with Britain and bought this road for 285,200 yuan, which was still allowed to drive for one year. On September 15th, the 3rd year of Guangxu (1877), after the road ransom was paid, the track was demolished, transported to Taiwan Province Province and placed at the seaside.

At present, a creative industrial park-1876 e-commerce creative park will be built on the original site of Songhu Railway, which is the first theme park in Shanghai. In the second year of Guangxu (1876), on May 22nd, the parishioners, gentry and Yang of Jianping County (now langxi) arrested Ruan Guangfu and Andingshan, the farm labourers, and killed them in the church in Oucun, which aroused public indignation. 800 local farmers attacked Oucun Church and burned Huang and Yang. Then, Guangde, Ningguo, Xuancheng and other counties launched an anti-Westernization struggle, destroying more than 40 churches, schools and houses. Shen Baozhen, Governor of Liangjiang, executed Bai Huiqing, Guo Jian Hu and guest Chen Acai, and compensated the destroyed church. The gentry Dong and Yu Yinglong accused by the church were acquitted.
