History:
Zhu Shitang is the only emperor in the history of China who practiced equality between men and women with practical actions. He only married a queen Zhang in his life, never married a maid-in-waiting, and never married a lady or a beautiful woman. It is not easy for him to live with the queen every day and live a husband-and-wife life like ordinary people.
Xiaowen and Queen Zhang are friends in need and loving couples. Judging from his education, he also knew very early that if he wants to be a good emperor, he can't love beauty and waste the country. They must sleep together every day, read poems and paintings, listen to the piano and watch dances, talk about the past and discuss the present, and be with * * * *. This casual move has created a special record through the ages, and it is also one of the evidences of Zhu Shitang as a wise king.
It is precisely because Xiaozong insisted on pampering only the queen that he became the only unique example of husband and wife buried together in the tombs of emperors in past dynasties, adding a lot of bright colors to his life of being a wise monarch and a wise master.
Extended information and sheets:
Throughout the dynasties, emperors and queens did not live together. In the Ming Dynasty, the emperor lived in Gan Qing Palace and the queen lived in Kunning Palace. According to the rules of the Ming Palace Museum, the Empress Dowager can't stay overnight. Every time the emperor courted the queen, eunuchs would hold torches back and forth and send her back to the palace.
Only by doting on Queen Zhang, they live together like folk couples. This matter is well known even outside the palace and even in the vassal States. North Korea's envoy also specially reported to the country's leaders that Zhu Youtang was uncertain about the future of North Korea because he "loved the Queen".
Queen Zhang once had aphtha and personally carried water and medicine for her, afraid to cough for fear of disturbing her rest. In the feudal patriarchal era, it is a much-told story that an ordinary husband is so kind to his wife, not to mention the honor of the Ninth Five-Year Plan. No wonder the ladies-in-waiting on the side were dumbfounded.
The brave Gong Sheng Wei Zhuang Canal, originally the top scholar in the cabinet, scrawled "I heard that your majesty spends more time in the Queen's Palace every day and less time in his own palace" during the entrance examination, so Lang Fei, the outstanding top scholar, was relegated to the ninth place in Dimethyl. Thanks to the good-natured Zhu Youtang, Zhu Chong Ba and Judy have long changed. Gee, it's beautiful.
