One of the highest honors in China's literary world sponsored by the Chinese Writers Association is awarded every four years. Mao Dun Literature Award was established according to Mao Dun's wishes, aiming at encouraging the creation of excellent novels and promoting the development of socialist literature in China. The individual bonus is 6,543,800 yuan.

Zhuang Chongwen Literature Award (1987 onwards)

Mr. Zhuang Chongwen, a famous Hong Kong person, proposed that the China Literature Foundation should host the Youth Literature Award. It is mainly used to reward young writers and outstanding young literary publications who have made outstanding achievements in literary creation and literary criticism. Now it is awarded every two years.

Cao Yu Drama Literature Award (1994 onwards)

The National Screenplay Creation Award represents the highest level of China's drama literature creation. Its predecessor was 1980 National Excellent Screenplay Award founded by Chinese Dramatists Association, and 1994 was renamed Cao Yu Drama Literature Award, sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chinese Dramatists Association. Once a year, the official award of 10 and the nomination award of 10 are awarded every session.

Lu Xun literature prize (1995 onwards)

One of the highest honors in China's literary world sponsored by the Chinese Writers Association. It is held every two years (in fact, about every three years). There are seven awards, including novellas, short stories, reportage, poetry, prose, literary theory criticism and literary translation works, and each award can evaluate five works. The previous personal bonus was 2000 yuan, and this year's bonus is 10000 yuan.

Yao won the literature prize (2003-present)

Sponsored by the China Literature Foundation of the Chinese Writers Association, according to the wishes and donations of the famous writer Yao, the "Yao Long Historical Novel Award Fund" was established to reward outstanding long historical novels. The award is selected every four years.

Everyone Red River Literature Award (1995 onwards)

Co-founded by Yunnan People's Publishing House, Renren Magazine and Yunnan Honghe Cigarette Factory. The bonus amount is 6,543,800 yuan. The selection targets are all authors of published works by everyone. Once every two years, there is one prize for each session, and one person for each prize.

New Concept Composition Competition (from 1998)

Initiated by Germination magazine and co-sponsored by ten famous universities. This composition award for senior high school students emphasizes "new thinking, new expression and true experience" and once became a "through train" for college enrollment and teenagers to become famous.
