About the author:
Guo is a famous historian in China. Born in 19 15. 1934 He was admitted to the History Department of Central University, studied under Mr. Zhu Xizu, a senior historian, and translated and published the famous book Ten Days, which shocked the world. 1944 took the English Geng study abroad exam and was admitted as a publicly funded international student, majoring in western history. Later, he took over the post of vice consul sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the United States and went to the United States to study in the history department of Durham University in New Orleans. From 65438 to 0950, he returned to China with his family and served the motherland. Later, he became a professor in the history department of East China Normal University, engaged in the teaching and research of world history for a long time. He is the author of Outline of Ancient World History, Lectures on Ancient and Medieval World History, Lectures on Modern World History, Summary of Western History, American Revolutionary War, Renaissance, Geographical Discovery, etc. He has been the editor-in-chief of the editorial board of the Dictionary of World History, and the member and deputy editor-in-chief of the editorial board of the General Introduction to the Encyclopedia of Chinese and Foreign History. He died on April 10, 2006 at the age of 9 1.
