The classic books about life and death are: The Study of Mao Yang, Zhang Xu's Chess Manual, Ghost Hand Tactics and Wonderful Chess Classic, which require a higher level. Elementary ones can be found in the Advanced Reader of Life and Death. There is also a set of "Mei Lan Zhu Ju", which is not bad. It is gradual, but there is no answer. Without foundation and guidance, you don't know right or wrong at all.
