Paralympic significance
The spirit of Paralympic Games embodies the social goal of "equality, participation and sharing". Any group or individual, regardless of their psychological and physical differences, has no reason to be marginalized by society, and they also have the right to participate in social life on an equal footing.
Share the fruits of social civilization development. The Paralympics focus on participation, which fully illustrates this point. Removing obstacles and sharing civilization, including overcoming all prejudices and discrimination, are the basic requirements of the Paralympic spirit for society.
The spirit of Paralympic Games emphasizes cultural communication and exchange. The collision and intersection of multi-cultures will fully demonstrate the traditional virtues of Chinese culture in helping the weak and the poor, absorb various advanced humanitarian concepts from abroad, promote social welfare including the disabled, and carry forward the social fashion of mutual assistance and friendship. In the process of caring for and helping others, people have strengthened their responsibility to society and jointly promoted social civilization and progress.
