August 1 day is the anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army of China, so it is also called "August 1st Army Day". Many people only know that 8 1 is Army Day, but they don't know the history and origin of Army Day. As a qualified China person, we have an obligation to remember this great festival. Let's know the origin of Army Day.
1April 2, 9271July 5, after Chiang Kai-shek and Wang Jingwei launched the campaign of "clearing the Communist Party" in Nanjing and Wuhan, * * * held an interim Politburo meeting in Hankou, and decided to use the National Revolutionary Army under the control and influence of * * * to hold an armed uprising in Nanchang, and appointed Zhou Enlai as the leading organ of the uprising.
1927 On July 27th, an important meeting was held in Nanchang attended by leaders of Zhu De, Liu Bocheng, Yun, Peng Pai, Ye Ting, Nie and Jiangxi, and a staff committee was established with Liu Bocheng as the chief of staff and Ye Ting and He Long as members. The commander-in-chief of the Rebel Army is subordinate to He Long and Ye Ting.
At two o'clock in the morning of August 27th, insurgents from Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, He Long, Ye Ting and Liu Bocheng attacked the Kuomintang troops stationed in Nanchang. After more than four hours of fierce fighting, they occupied Nanchang City. On the morning of the same day, a joint meeting of members of the Central Committee of * * * and representatives of various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and overseas parties and departments was held in Nanchang, which adopted the Central Declaration, established the China Revolutionary Committee composed of 25 people including Soong Ching Ling, Zhou Enlai, He Long, Ye Ting and Zhu De, and adopted the Declaration of the August 1st Uprising.
The central declaration published by Nanchang Republic Daily.
Nanchang Uprising is an armed uprising with global significance directly led by China. It fired the first shot of armed resistance against the Kuomintang reactionaries, declared China's firm stance of carrying out the China revolution to the end, and marked the beginning of China's independent creation of the revolutionary army and leading the revolutionary war. From then on, August 1 became the Army Day of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army and later the China People's Liberation Army.

Birthplace of August 1st Army Day: Ruijin
1at the end of August, 927, under the command of Zhu De and He Long, Nanchang Uprising troops stormed all night, occupied Ruijin in one fell swoop, and won the first siege war after Nanchang Uprising. Ruijin, a mountain city in the south of Jiangxi, has since forged an indissoluble bond with the China Revolution.
Ye Jianying coup "diverted the tiger from the mountain" to the south.
1927 Nanchang Uprising in August shocked Chiang Kai-shek and Wang Jingwei. They immediately mobilized hundreds of thousands of heroes from Jiangsu, Anhui and Hubei to fight back in Nanchang. In view of the different strengths of the enemy and ourselves, from August 3, the insurgents began to withdraw from Nanchang and advance southward. However, more than 20 days after the rebels retreated from Nanchang, they passed through Linchuan, Yihuang, Guangchang and Ningdu without any obstacles.
Nanchang held an armed uprising.
After the Nanchang Uprising broke out, Zhang Fakui, commander-in-chief of the Second Army of the National Revolutionary Army, held an emergency meeting. Ye Jianying, then an underground member of the Chinese Communist Party and an adviser to the Fourth Army of the Second Army, took advantage of the internal conflicts in the reactionary camp and suggested that Zhang Fakui should not pursue the uprising troops and let them go south to join forces with the Guangdong warlord Chen Huishi. This plan is exactly what Zhang Fakui wants. As a result, the uprising troops were not pursued after retreating from Nanchang, and they got a precious breathing space and came safely to Ruijin City.
The ideal city was captured in a bloody battle day and night.
1On the afternoon of August 25th, 927, under the command of Zhu De and He Long, the insurgents launched their first siege war in Rentian Town, north of Ruijin. Chen told reporters that the main force to attack Ruijin is the First and Second Divisions led by He Long, and the Third Division led by Zhou Yiqun is the reserve team. After a night of fierce fighting, five regiments led by Qian Dajun, the right commander of the Eighth Route Army, were defeated and fled to Huichang. On the morning of 26th, the insurgents occupied Ruijin City. This is the first time that Nanchang Uprising troops captured this city. However, this victory also paid a heavy price: Ran, chief of staff of the ninth army of the uprising troops, and Yu Yuan, head of the third regiment of the first division of the twentieth army, died gloriously, with hundreds of casualties.
