As a man, I once had a thrush dream.
A few times, the wine brush piled on the cloud to wish Princess Ming.
Translation:
Holding a strong bow, pretending to be stupid, but also thrusting oneself in the dream as before.
How many times did you miss your hometown with a glass in your hand and go to the clouds to pay homage to Wang Zhaojun?
Poetry appreciation
The word "left" in the first sentence is very vivid, which not only highlights Mulan's special identity, but also vividly depicts the heroine's extraordinary ability to dress up as a man. Otherwise, after traveling together for twelve years, how could the partners "not know that Mulan is a girl"?
In the second sentence, "There was a thrush in my dream", the poet borrowed the artistic conception of Mulan's poem "Arranging a cloud temple for the window". Replacing Liu Yun's sideburns with "thrush" fully shows Mulan's true colors as a girl: "There is a thrush in my dream" and "he" is equivalent to "he".
The last two sentences, "I want to drink a few times and pile it on the cloud to wish Princess Ming." The poet further developed his imagination and described the contradictory inner world of Mulan in detail: Mulan was brave and fearless in the battle, but she couldn't help but "return the wine several times" in daily life, which appropriately showed the profundity of this inner contradiction.
