How to choose courses?

1. Choose the course you are interested in?

When choosing a course, you should focus on your own interests and choose the subjects you want to choose in the future. The courses selected by IGCSE are basically paving the way for alevel courses, otherwise there is no basic learning A-level or IBDP.

2. Choose courses related to your major in the future?

Try to choose courses related to your future major. Students who want to study business can choose courses such as mathematics, economics, management and accounting. Students who want to study humanities can choose geography, history, law, business studies and other courses.

3. Choose the subjects you are good at?

Students with good English are advised to choose EFL, and some institutions can skip IELTS scores. Students who are good at mathematics suggest choosing advanced mathematics or mechanical equipment mathematics.

4. Should the total number of courses be moderate?

Choose a moderate number of courses, and make sure that you have a good foundation to connect Alevel or IB courses, and that your scores in all subjects are above C?

5. Should we pay attention to the difficulty of the course?

Mathematics is recognized as a difficult subject, and many universities in the United States have rigid requirements for the scores of mathematics exams in IGCSE. Therefore, mathematics is the most critical subject in IGCSE. If you don't do well in math, don't choose by force.
