1. Is the history behind it brilliant or sad?
Every object has its own story, and the meaning behind it is unique.
For example, I once saw a pair of women's shoes in a museum. This pair of shoes is exclusive to three-inch golden lotus. To tell you the truth, I was very sad at that moment. We can imagine how uncomfortable it is to wear shoes of a smaller size, but once they reluctantly bound their feet for the so-called little feet, resulting in skeletal deformity. They were really sorry for the girls. But at the same time, we have to admit that this is the history of our country and our early feudal traditional thought. These little shoes are the epitome of an era.
Dunhuang has always been a mythical place. The Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang have been preserved by several generations of archaeologists. They are willing to do so naturally because of the story behind the Mogao Grottoes. Every cave, every Buddha statue and every mural here is different. It inherits Buddhist culture and embodies the strength and glory of our nation.
2. Every antique is worth cherishing.
The place with the most treasures in Qing Dynasty is Yuanmingyuan. This royal garden is not only beautiful, but also amazing all over the world. However, during Eight-Nation Alliance's invasion of China, Yuanmingyuan suffered heavy losses and lost millions of treasures. Today, we have spent a lot of money, visited many countries and museums, and found less than half of them, but archaeologists continue to never give up. This is a respect for history and a treasure of the achievements made by our ancestors. After 2000, many antiquities were bought by private collectors and donated to the country. I believe that national integrity is one of the greatest.
In a word, the exquisite workmanship of antiquities is only one aspect of our research. The most attractive thing about it is that it reminds us of history, glory and shame, and urges us to move towards a better future.
