The Historical Evolution of Balimiao Village
The historical evolution of Balimiao Village can be traced back to the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, specifically 1373. At that time, it was a small village called Liu Zhuang, which was located between the north gate of Zhang Qiu, the ancient canal town, and Bali, the site of Dahe Temple in Bali Temple, so it was later renamed Bali Temple Village. Balimiao Village is located at 1km to the north of Jiahe township government's residence, adjacent to Ditou Village of Huba Town in the north, and under the jurisdiction of Jiahe Township. It is adjacent to Guzhuang Village in the east, Houjiahe Village in the west, Laotaiwu Road in the south, Xinxian Road in the east, and roads around towns and villages in the north. In addition, there are two ancient temples in the history of Balimiao Village, namely Dahe Temple and Tai 'an Grandma Temple. These ancient temples include three halls facing south and four east and west wings, as well as a courtyard with a tall gatehouse in front, including a cast iron clock and a big iron incense burner, and four monuments such as the river restoration monument. In terms of population composition, by the end of 20021,there were 73 households with 289 people in Balimiao Village, including Guo, Liu, He, Yang, Wang, Wang, Ma and Chen. Among them, Wang and Ma are Hui people, and Guo and He have the largest population. In terms of industrial planning, Balimiao Village has 1 1 vegetable greenhouses and two greenhouses, covering an area of about 40 mu, belonging to the village collective economy. In addition, there is a poverty alleviation workshop covering an area of 566 square meters, attracting more young people with aspirations to return to their hometowns for entrepreneurship and employment.
