China's past dynasties decorative painting studies the definition of decorative painting and the history, artistic style and form of China's decorative painting. It is believed that decorative painting is used to decorate objects, which is generally expressed by painting, illustration and pattern. Such as silk paintings in the late Zhou Dynasty, bronze decorations in the Warring States Period, portrait bricks in the Han Dynasty, Dunhuang murals, Yongle Palace murals and even woodcut illustrations in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
