What intangible cultural heritages are there in your hometown? Please tell us something that will make us rise.
My hometown is Fengshun, Meizhou, Guangdong, which has the reputation of "the hometown of hot springs". Welcome friends and tourists to visit! We have an intangible cultural heritage-Puzhai Fire Dragon, which is our traditional folk cultural activity with a history of more than 300 years. Every Lantern Festival or major celebration, we will burn fire dragons there to celebrate the harvest and welcome the New Year. The weather is good, the crops are abundant and prosperous. Fire dragon is made of iron wire, bamboo, paper, etc. And then draw the forest, feet and claws of the dragon. The dragon is tens of meters long. Install fireworks, firecrackers and rockets on dragons. The fire dragon is held by thirty or forty young adults, as well as drummers, goldfish and lobsters, with more than 200 performers. Hundreds of performers went shirtless, and the scene was very colorful and spectacular. Dragons are flying everywhere, sparking like a living red dragon. Tens of thousands of people watched and the atmosphere was very high. The spectacular and thrilling performance attracted the audience's full praise. The Dragon Show can bring good luck to people, and the sparks sprayed on people indicate that they will make a fortune, so people in their hometown are eager to watch it. We also set up the Puzhai Fire Dragon Art Troupe and were invited to perform in various places. Television stations, newspapers and overseas have reported on our burning dragon. Fire dragon is deeply loved by people in hometown and welcomed by friends all over the world!
