The 1 line was put into trial operation in 20 15, and officially put into passenger operation from the end of 20 15 to the beginning of 20 16.

Line 2 1 will be opened to traffic in 20 16 years, forming a cross-shaped skeleton network of Nanchang underground traffic, and a rail transit skeleton network consisting of 1, Line 2 and Line 3 will be formed by 2020. From 2020 to the prospective year, the whole network will be gradually built, and a complete rail transit network will be formed with Line 4 Phase II, Line 5, Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 to realize the overall goal of network planning.
