Brief introduction of Altmid company
Chinese name of Artemide: Astra Minter

Artemid 1960 was born in Milan, Italy. In the past 50 years, Artemide has made many classic lamps, such as Tizio, Melampo and Logico. Many master designers under Altmead regard lamps as magic switches to change the atmosphere of space, and skillfully turn the simple lighting function into the protagonist of decoration, thus creating colorful and changeable shapes.

Gorgeous appearance can't hide the connotation and concept of Artemide. Artemide has always insisted on "human light", that is, intelligent light, which can communicate harmoniously with people in daily life. This is also the reason why Artemide focuses on fully understanding the concepts of products and brands and paying attention to every detail of people's life that comes into contact with light. Therefore, we believe that if there is a kind of light that gives people a vivid and comfortable experience, it is both scientific and environmentally friendly, and it can constantly create the most "appropriate" things around life, that is, Artemide.

Tizio desk lamp produced by Artemide in 1970s is famous for its unique structural modeling. It can adjust its height and angle by itself, showing different changes. It has no wire connection, and has a built-in transformer of 230/240V or 12V, which allows the current to shine through the pole and button. At that time, it became a product that many artists and young people dreamed of owning. In 1980s, Artemide introduced its classic desk lamp Tolomeo, which became the best-selling product and won Compasso d'Oro. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina. Until today, its simple lines and ingenious design are still praised by people and regarded as eternal classics. In 2002, Artemide invited the designer of Beijing Bird's Nest to design a new product pipeline in any form. The design of this lamp won the famous Italian design award Compasso d'Oro in 2002, which is well deserved. Later, in 2007, Artemide introduced a classic chandelier Mercury, which was operated by British industrial designer ross lovegrove. In the name of mercury, the light flashed, and mercury bubbles echoed each other, and suddenly a Yin Hua streamed down, blooming with amazing brilliance. This work is the masterpiece of Artemide and won the "Best Elite Award" of Red Dot in 2008.
