Administrative divisions of Jiaxing Road Street
1960 March Hongzhen Street starts from Zhoujiazui Road in the east, ends at Shajing Port in the west, ends at Yalu River Road in the south and ends at Shahong Road in the north.

1994, Jiaxing Road Street is adjacent to Shajing Port and Tongzhou Road in the east, Zhoujiazui Road and Yalu River Road in the south, Baoan Road and Liyang Road in the west, and Linping North Road and Baoan Branch Road in the north. In June 2004, the street administrative area was adjusted. Bao 'an community in the former jurisdiction was placed under Sichuan North Road Street, and the seagull and Xinlu communities in the former Ouyang Road Street were placed under Jiaxing Road Street. In 2006, the Party Working Committee was renamed as the Community (Street) Party Working Committee, which was subordinate to the administrative party group, the comprehensive party committee and the residential party committee. The 39 residential areas and the party branches of the "two new" organizations are divided into six "party building cooperation blocks".

In 2007, Jiaxing Road Street governed Lan Yan, Jiangxia, Jintian, Reclamation Area, Helen, Qingyuan, Kangrui, Lisan, Tianshui, Qingyang, Baoyuan, Beijie, Anqiu, Anle, Tonghai, Linping, Yuezhou, Tongzhou, JD.COM, Xinlu, Seagull, Hong Kong Liyuan and Ruihong New City.

In 2009, some administrative areas of the original Xingang Road Street (1. 19 square kilometers) were included in Jiaxing Road Street. Jiaxing Road Street has jurisdiction over 23 communities: Lan Yan Community, Jiangxia Community, Jintian Community, Kenye Community, Helen Community, Qingyuan Community, Kangrui Community, Lisan Community, Tianshui Community, Qingyang Community, Anqiu Community, Baoyuan Community, JD.COM Community, Beijie Community, Tongzhou Community, Linping Community, Tonghai Community, Anle Community, Yuezhou Community and Xinlu Community. Jiaxing Road Street belongs to Hongkou District, Shanghai, which is located in the south-central part of the district. It covers an area of about 2.63 square kilometers, with Dalian Road in the east, Zhoujiazui Road in the south, Hongkou Port in the west and siping road in the north.

Jiaxing Road street rivers include Shanghai Pu, Hongkou Port and Yujingpu.

Shanghai Puyuan was originally a tributary of the lower reaches of Wusong River. It starts from the east side of Shiliupu in Shinan District in the east, connects Huangpu in the south, flows to the junction of the former Songjiabang and Fanjiabang, and then flows eastward to Jiaxing Road and Bridge in Hongkou Port to join the former Wusong River. The total length is 4.6 kilometers, and the flow area is 1.7 kilometers. The river is wide enough for ships to pass. In the Yuan Dynasty, the waterway was gradually occupied and merged by Huangpu, and the name of Shanghai Pu was changed to Huangpu. The place where it pours into Wusong River (now Jiaxing Road and Bridge) is called "Huangpu River Estuary".
