Speculation on the origin of Clark porcelain
In the 1990s, news of the discovery of "Clark Porcelain" and "Shantou Porcelain" kiln sites and samples sold to Japan and other countries began to spread like wildfire. The ceramic industry at home and abroad was jubilant, and many eyes immediately turned to Heping, a mountain county in southern Fujian that was never known. At that time, a number of blue and white and painted porcelain of unknown origin were unearthed in Kansai, Japan. Chinese and Japanese scholars conducted archaeological excavations in Zhangzhou, and finally confirmed that the origin of porcelain was Zhangzhou. This has completely solved many questions in the ceramic industry before: the source of "Clark porcelain" is mostly in Zhangzhou kiln.
