Brief introduction of 12 Liancheng
ShiliLiancheng is located at the south bank 1 km of Shuanghe River in the northeast of changge city, Xuchang City, Henan Province. It is connected by twelve small towns, and it is the ruins of an ancient city in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. The city wall consists of five sections, with a total length of 1 500m and an area of 30,000m2. The city wall is rammed, with rammed layer thickness of 15-20cm and flat rammed nest diameter of 6- 10cm. Bricks and tiles of the Han Dynasty are scattered in the upper part of the city site, and fragments of Neolithic red pottery and ceramic pottery are found in the lower part, and the decorative patterns are mainly rope patterns. In March 2009, a small excavation was carried out in the southeast of the city site, exposing many remains such as ash pits and wells, and unearthed a large number of pieces of various practical utensils. Twelve Liancheng is a large-scale and rich-content site of the Warring States period, which has important historical research value and provides very valuable material for studying the historical evolution and development of this area and its relationship with Xinzheng, Zheng and Han ancient cities. In September 2000, it was announced by the people's government of Henan Province as a key cultural relics protection unit. 20 13 was approved by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units in May.
