1, Shanghai Nanyang Model Middle School

Shanghai Nanyang Model Middle School is one of the earliest new schools founded by China people. Founded in 190 1, formerly the primary school affiliated to Nanyang Public School. According to the adjustment of national layout, 1956 school was changed to a public school, and 1959 was listed as a key middle school in Shanghai. In 2005, the school was named "Shanghai Experimental Demonstration High School".

2. Shanghai Gezhi Middle School

Gezhi Middle School, formerly known as Gezhi Academy, was founded in 1874. It was initiated by Li Hongzhang, an important official of the Qing Dynasty, and co-founded by Xu Shou, a famous modern chemist, and Mai, then British Consul General in Shanghai.
