The victory of land reform completely wiped out feudal land ownership.

5. The first five-year plan
Angang, Baotou Steel and WISCO have officially started construction. 1956, Changchun Automobile Factory, the first truck factory in China, successfully trial-produced the first jet plane in China, Shenyang Machine Tool Factory, the first machine tool factory in China, the first Yangtze River Bridge in China, a large number of electron tube factories in Beijing, and the Kangzang, Qingzang and Xinzang highways built on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the "roof of the world", were successively completed and opened to traffic. A large number of basic industrial departments, such as heavy and precision machinery manufacturing, power generation equipment manufacturing, metallurgy and mining equipment manufacturing, advanced alloy steel and nonferrous metal smelting, which were not available in old China, began to be established one by one. With the corresponding development of transportation, light industry, agriculture, commerce, culture and education, people's lives have been greatly improved, which has greatly changed the face of national economic development and effectively enhanced the strength of national basic industries.
