Does Xixia in history belong to China?
(A.D. 1038 turn 1227) The historical roots of Xixia can be traced back to the early Tang Dynasty. The Tangut is a branch of the Qiang people, and Sui Shu uploaded "Three Miao after the Tangut Qiang people". In the Tang Dynasty, Dangxiang Qiang and Tuguhun, who lived on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, often joined forces against the powerful Tubo.

In the first year of the Tang Dynasty (88 1), Tuoba Sigong occupied Zhou Xia (now Hengshan County, Shaanxi Province), which made it difficult for us to recover time and made Xia Guogong independent from generation to generation. A.D. 1038, when the People's Republic of China was founded, it was named "Daxia" with Xia as its title. Because in the west, the Song people called it "Xixia".

The territory includes present Ningxia, northwest Gansu, northeast Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and northwest Shaanxi. There is the Yellow River in the east, Yumen in the west, Xiaoguan in the south (now Tongxin South in Ningxia) and desert in the north, covering an area of more than 20,000 li.
