The affiliated hospital was established in 1956, the outpatient building was completed at the end of 1957, and the outpatient service was officially opened in March 1958. As the ward building has not yet been built, in order to create internship conditions for medical college students of grade 56, on the basis of ensuring outpatient work, the hospital has set up 100 formal beds and 50 simple beds in the outpatient building. At the beginning of the hospital, the hospital occupied an area of 34,060 square meters, with a building area of 17982 square meters, including outpatient medical area of 4 128 square meters and ward area of 12054 square meters. 1960, the ward building was completed and put into use. Since then, the number of open beds has increased year by year, reaching 500 in 1962. 1979, Oncology and Isotope Building completed. 1986, a new outpatient building with a building area of 8260 square meters was opened, and the original outpatient area became a ward area after adding floors and expanding, and the hospital opened 650 beds. In the same year, CT building, Xinhua Hotel and Radiology Building were built. 1987 completed the expansion of the inpatient department and added floors. 1994 completed the transformation of the operating room, and built 15 operating room with 20 operating tables. 1995 set up rehabilitation department and special medical service center, with a total of 850 beds in the hospital. Since then, the construction of the 3400-square-meter preparatory building has been completed. In 2005, a 72,000-square-meter new inpatient building was completed and put into use. The new building has 448 modern standard wards, 1332 beds, as well as clean operating room, laminar flow ward, central pharmacy and special computer rooms for CT, ECT, PET-CT, cyclotron and linear accelerator. The completion of the new building has completely changed the medical environment and conditions of the hospital. In the same year, the hospital transformed the original operating building into a comfortable and well-equipped physical examination and health care center, and transformed the old inpatient building of 10382 square meters for medical treatment and administrative office respectively. Since then, the construction of logistics distribution center, oxygen machine room, hyperbaric oxygen treatment center and reproductive center has been completed one after another. In 2007, in order to meet the needs of clinical teaching development, the 1-5 floor of the experimental building of medical college was transformed into a clinical skills training center. At the beginning of 2008, the renovation of the outpatient building was completed. After the renovation, the use area of the outpatient building is increased, the pattern is more reasonable, and it is more convenient for patients to seek medical treatment. Up to now, our hospital covers an area of 53,400 square meters, with a total construction area (including living room)193,456 square meters, outpatient clinic 10752 square meters, ward 7 1892 square meters, and the number of beds 1667.

In 2005, the hospital successfully carried out the socialization reform of logistics, introduced property management companies, and improved the level of hospital logistics service.
