In which county did Zhuge Liang capture Meng Huo in history?
Just as Zhuge Liang's "seven captures of Meng Huo" and Meng Huo's birthplace, nationality and other issues are constantly being debated, Yang, an old Anshun gentleman who has studied the history of Yelang for more than 20 years, recently put forward a new theory: Meng Huo should be from Anshun.

Yang believes that Zhuge Liang's "seven verticals and seven captures" of Meng Huo is indeed true, and Meng Huo was an influential leader of southern ethnic minorities at that time. Yang (former chairman of the CPPCC in Zhenning Autonomous County) has studied the history of Yelang for more than 20 years, and has also studied the historical figure Meng Huo. He believes that Meng Huo in the Three Kingdoms period lived in Anshun today.

1. There are records about Meng Huo and his place name in Xixiu District: The granary cave is located in Qiyanqiao Town, Xixiu District, and there is a stone tablet at the entrance. According to the inscription, this cave was originally a "granary cave" for Meng Huo to collect grain, but it was in Qingxian County.

Meng Huo was recorded in the Annals of Anshun compiled in the first year of Feng (A.D. 185 1). Located in Xiaotun Fort, Gu Ning Town, Xixiu District, it is said that Zhuge Liang once captured Meng Huo here.

Legend.

2. There are place names and sites about Kongming and Meng Huo in Zhenning Autonomous County: According to Selected Materials of Zhenning Literature and History, it is said that Zhuge Liang chased Meng Huo downstream of Guanjiao Power Station in Dabang Township, Zhenning Autonomous County.

Here, there are people who bathe in the river, so later generations are called Kongmingtang; Behind the hillside after the renovation of Liu Yang Village in Longjiang Town, there is a natural cave called "Menghuo Cave" by local people, which can accommodate thousands of people. It is said that there was a Miao nationality named Meng Huo in ancient times.

Wang Lingbing lived in it and went to other places after the defeat.

Third, Guanling Zhuge Liang's Record of the South Expedition: "Anshun Record" records that Zhuge Liang was chasing Meng Huo when it rained heavily and the soldiers got wet. The sun came out when crossing the hillside of Chibi Monument. Zhuge Liang ordered the soldiers to stop and rest on this mountain and take off their wet armor to bask in the sun. Therefore, this mountain is called "Sun Jiashan".

Yang said that according to the above signs, he thought it was in Anshun.
