Where is the historical Lanling now?
Lanling, an ancient city in China, is located in Linyi City, Shandong Province. Since the late Warring States period, the State of Chu established Lanling City here, which has a history of more than 2,200 years. It is the earliest county in Shandong Province.

Lanling was named after Qu Yuan, a doctor of Chu. Orchid is the fragrance of the holy king, and mausoleum is the highland, which means "holy land". During the Spring and Autumn Period, Lu set up a branch city in Lanling. During the Warring States Period, Chu established Lanling County to administer Lanling (now Lanling Town, Linyi City, Shandong Province), and later in the spring, Shen Jun took Xunzi as the second order of Lanling. Cao Wei of the Three Kingdoms of Han belongs to Donghai County. In the early Western Jin Dynasty, the old system was followed. In the first year of Yuankang, Emperor Jinhui set up Lanling County. During the Sixteen Kingdoms period, Lanling County was established. Lanling County was founded in the Northern Qi Dynasty.

The site of Lanling Old Town is now located in Lanling Town, Lanling County, Linyi City, Shandong Province.

20 13 12.27 Cangshan county, which governs lanling town, was renamed as lanling county in the State Council, and was under the jurisdiction of Linyi city, a prefecture-level city.
