Harbin is located in the northeast of China (Heilongjiang Province), more than 0/000 kilometers away from Beijing/KLOC-,and separated from Liaoning, Hebei and other provinces with strong local dialects, but it is strikingly similar to Mandarin, even more similar than Beijing. In addition, the history of Harbin is only 100 years, but the emergence of such a local dialect similar to Putonghua is indeed an interesting language phenomenon.
