What are the historical origins of China and South Korea?
In ancient times, the Korean peninsula has always been our subordinate country and has always been protected by us. Their Korean king must be canonized by our emperor. The relationship with them is a bit like Beijing and Tibet. For the sake of this vassal state, we fought fiercely with the enemy in the Tang Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty and in Liaodong Peninsula three times, and the first two times were all victories. Therefore, it was only in the Tang Dynasty that the enemy surrendered to us and sent envoys to the Tang Dynasty to learn the essence of China people in all aspects.

In the last battle of the Qing Dynasty, we fought fiercely with the Japanese in Liaodong Peninsula and used the Beiyang Navy to transport soldiers, which led to the Sino-Japanese War.

Cultural and educational exchanges between China and South China have a long history. Confucianism spread to the Korean peninsula as early as the first century A.D., which had a great influence on Korea and Silla. Because Confucianism was in line with the interests of the feudal ruling classes in the three countries of Korea at that time, all countries on the ancient Korean peninsula adopted a positive attitude to absorb Confucianism. In 788 AD, North Korea began to imitate China's imperial examination system, which took Confucianism as the examination content and standard, and used it as the main means of selection and management. This situation continued until 1893. Therefore, Confucianism had a far-reaching impact on the political, economic and cultural development of the ancient Korean Peninsula. Ancient China was the center of cultural and educational exchanges among Asian countries. Many Asian countries, including North Korea, sent a large number of overseas students to China. As recorded in the Book of the New Tang Dynasty, North Korea and Silla sent overseas students one after another, and the number of overseas students in Chang 'an reached 105 in 894. Returned students were highly valued by Silla Dynasty, including the political and economic system, astronomical legislation, medicine, printing books, Zuo Zhuan and so on. The people of the Korean peninsula also carried forward this culture with creative learning, formed their own unique cultural traditions, and enriched East Asian civilization and world civilization. Since modern times, with the spread of western learning to the east and the changes in the world pattern, the education between China and South Korea has begun a modern transformation, and the once close educational exchanges have weakened compared with the past. Especially with the formation of the cold war situation, the division of the Korean Peninsula has isolated the exchanges between China and South Korea for some time. With the rise of all walks of life in the Cold War, the educational exchange between China and South Korea has entered a brand-new historical stage. The educational exchange between the two countries has a long history.
