As we all know, the United States is a young country, however, its culture is very splendid, which is recognized by people all over the world, especially its fast food culture.

1948, Mr. and Mrs. Richards opened their first fast food restaurant next to a highway, named McDonald's. In order to attract passers-by, they held up golden neon signs, mainly selling hamburgers, milkshakes, soda water and so on wrapped in paper bags. Because it is easy to carry, people in the car can find a solution to eat, so it is very popular with Americans. Based on the industrial assembly line, a new fast food was born. With its appearance, a new way of life began to spread throughout the United States, and even later affected the whole world.

In my opinion, the reason why American fast food is so popular is that people live in a fast pace, and Americans pursue high efficiency in both work and life.
