How did Jingxing get his name?
Taihang Mountain has many east-west horizontal valleys. The famous ones are Du Jun, Puyin, Hu Fei, Jingxing, Jiaokou, Bletilla, Taihang and Diaoguan.

The fifth is Jingxing. Jingxing is an ancient name, also known as Tumen Pass. So it is located in Jingxing Mountain, Jingxing County, Hebei Province. Jingxing is the key point connecting Shanxi, Hebei and Shandong, and its military position is very important.

Jingxing, known as "Taihang Mountain is the fifth of the eight wonders and the sixth of the nine blockades in the world", is an important thoroughfare in Hebei, a battleground for military strategists in past dynasties, a distribution center for material exchange in Hebei, Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, a military, economic and cultural center in western North China, a famous battle between Han Xin and China and a famous Hundred Regiments War. Jingxing is the main battlefield.

Jingxing is named because its land is shaped like the two ends of a well, with narrow terrain and strange valley potential. The existing Jingxing county is also named after this.
