Here is a more famous case-the floating corpse case:
The bravest man in China's history was Wu Zixu. King Chu Ping wanted to kill Wu She, and he was worried that his two sons would come back for revenge. Under the guise of Wu, he sent messengers to recruit his second son, Haohua.
My brother Wu Shang said that my father called me and if I didn't survive, I would be laughed at by the whole world. Brother Wu Shuo, it's no use dying. It's better to go to other countries and take revenge. Wu She and both were killed, and Wu fled everywhere. The people have a good impression and sympathy for Wu Zixu, so there is a legend that "Wu Zixu passed Shaoguan and lost his head overnight";
Wu Zixu later fled to Wu, and his chest was always full of resentment. Compared with Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao, Wei and Qin, Wu is an unknown small country, and the author of Warring States Policy even disdains to mention it. Wu Zixu came to Wu, which opened the most glorious page in the history of Wu. A weak country was revitalized by the arrival of a person.
The prince of Wu sealed Lu and reused Wu Zixu, and the country became increasingly prosperous. "Breaking the strong Chu in the west, conquering Qi Jin in the north and serving the Vietnamese in the south." Chu is a big country with strong comprehensive national strength among the seven countries. Wu Chu started a war, and Wu Bing invaded the capital of Chu, almost destroying Chu. This is the darkest page in the history of Chu. Wu Nanping went across the country, northern expedition to Qi, defeated Qi, and shocked the world.
When the State of Wu attacked the capital of Chu, Wu Zixu dug up the tomb of King Chu Ping and gave his body 300 lashes, which was "perverse". He completely ignored the ethics of the monarch and his son, resolutely fled, went through difficulties and obstacles, and finally dug the grave and whipped the body to avenge himself. It is very unusual for people to walk. Wu Zixu is a real gentleman.
Wu's glory is only a flash in the pan. After He Lu's son, Fu Cha, came to power, he used treacherous court official BoNo and alienated Wu Zixu. At that time, Zhu Jian, the king of Yue, was trying to destroy Wu, who was already dying. Wu Zixu keenly felt the impending disaster of national subjugation, and advised him several times: "The King of Yue can work hard, but he will regret it if he doesn't die today." Fu Cha didn't listen, but he believed the treacherous court official's slanderous words of "no" and even gave Wu Zixu a knife to kill himself;
Wu Zixu, a strong-willed man, said to his counselor before choking, I want to gouge out my eyes and hang them on the east gate of Wu. I want to see how Yuekou destroyed Wu through this gate. Fu Cha was furious when he learned of this incident, so that Wu Zixu's body was wrapped in a horse skin and floated on the river. That sentence of practicing eating and drinking really ruined Wu. When Fu Cha died, he hid his face and said, "I have no face to see my son Xu."
The people of Wu sympathized with Wu Zixu's tenacity and built a temple for him on a mountain near Taihu Lake, and named the mountain Xushan. One person can rejuvenate the country, and one person's death can ruin the country. This is the story of Wu Zixu.
