The development of history

In the thirty-eighth year of the Republic of China (1949), the People's Government of North China moved to Beiping on February 20th, and was subordinate to the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th and 20th districts of Beiping and Shunyi and Tongxian counties of Hebei Province. In June of that year, Beiping adjusted its zoning, and the eastern suburb 14 area was merged into 13 area. The southern suburbs 15 and 23 were merged into 14, while the northern suburbs 19 and 20 were merged into 17, belonging to 13, 14 and 17.
